Chicchi has now been awarded the "Food for Health Gold Award" by Tower Hamlets Council.

Tower Hamlets Food for Health Awards is a new project which recognises restaurants and caterers in Tower Hamlets that have made healthy changes to menus or ingredients to reduce the amount of calories, fat and sugar. The scheme is part of Tower Hamlets Healthy Borough Programme.

By eating at award-winning restaurants, they can make healthier food choices, and support local businesses who are working to give their customers healthy and tasty options. Dr Ian Basnett, Joint Director of Public Health

The awards are being funded by the Tower Hamlets Healthy Borough Programme, a partnership between NHS Tower Hamlets, the London Borough of Tower Hamlets being delivered through the Tower Hamlets Partnership.
